Today we will be talking about one of the biggest investments you can make when getting into hookah, I am not talking about a stock exchange either. When it comes down to it, if you are planning to smoke hookah for the long haul you want to build a strong investment in your pipe. When smoking tobacco through any pipe, it is the single most important investment you will get into.
I smoke both traditional pipe and hookah pipe so I have invested in a good pipe for both. When talking about durability and craftmanship you cannot find any better hookah than a Khalil Mamoon. I currently have 2 models and both are built strong. Let's talk about what a Khalil Mamoon hookah is. First thing first, these hookahs are Egyptian, when I say Egyptian I mean Egyptian from the style and birthplace. These hookahs are all hand made and you can see every weld on each piece that has been welded together. In comparison these hookahs only have few parts that are removable, the shaft and stem are welded together and cannot be removed. Most modern hookahs are comprised of many pieces which most interchange. Khalil Mamoon hookahs have a detachable purge valve that consists of a ball bearing and a cap. The other part that is removable is the ashtray which holds the Khalil Mamoon name in both English and Arabic.
When I talk about these hookahs being built strong I mean that they are heavy metal and are built to last. Modern hookahs are typically comprise of many pieces that are screwed together and are made of inexpensive metals that corrode over time and eventually fail. The only pieces of my KM style hookahs that have shown corosion or calcium deposits are the port holes and the purge valve and are easily cleaned and usually these hookahs come with cleaning brushes that remove this issue with ease. The hoses that come with these hookahs are signature and bear the Khalil Mamoon name and emblems across them. They have a decorative handle and tip and usually are comprised of leather, cloth, and acrylic tips. Although other styles of hookah are becoming popular there is no comparison to the Khalil Mamoon Egyptian hookah line,
I call them the Lamborghini of hookah for a reason. They are built with fine craftmanship and are made to last and perform extremely well. For more information and to see them in action check out my videos on YouTube, Im Daniel Springs and as always Keep Smoking.
