Upon recieving a new box of shisha...
open it up completely, spread it out on a plastic bag and let it acclimate to the particular level of humidity in your room for around 4 hours.
Store your shisha not in fridge, but in a plastic bag inside an airtight container and put in a cupboard.

Add a bit of glycerine from the pharmacy,
but not honey or molasses as it will only burn and crust on the shisha while it cooks it to a sweet crisp.
Keep an open mind when buying shisha, each brand has great, or worse flavours. Try an assortment of each compan brand to see which you prefer.
Of course, some brands might be too weak for you or not burn long or flavoursome enough in general.Try out a few of each.
