Ok I'll get right to the point:
Pros:
-large diameter hose allows for a very easy, almost effortless drag.
-longer than my factory hoses
-MOSTLY well made
-nice and heavy.. The cobra head pieces of these things are UBER HEAVY... Personally... I like that.. Lets me know I have something sturdy in my hand...
-the couplings connecting the hose to the cobra head and the plug are heavy duty steel piping, not just cheap sheet steal rolled into a tube shape.
-Looks damned cool out of the box
-easy to pimp out yoursel.. If youre like me.. you might want to add a little "bling" or bells and whistles to the hose... easy to do with these...
Cons:
-material used to wrap the hose is fairly thin and seems like it would rip easily...Whether this is the case or not I have yet to see.
-the ends of the hose are too large to fit most hookahs properly.. and thus you might have to do what I did and resort to electrical or duct tape (the fixers of all things)
-mouth pieces might come loose and possibly come off.. I would suggest using some crazy/gorilla glue with a toothpick around the seems of the piece if you have a loose one...
-Inconsistent size... My girl had bought us each one for valentines day... hers is about 6-8" longer than mine (i know i know shes hung like a horse) but yeah... seems to me they should be the same.. (also mine is the one with the loose-ish mouth piece)
overall:
This is a pretty sturdy product.. I am a person, as I mentioned before, that likes to feel something with a bit of weight to it.. I like to know things are quite sturdy.. and this product is just that. even if by chance the hose does someday rip, it would be easy to re-wrap.. either way the main parts are definitely sturdy and well made... though the cobra heads themselves have some imperfections.. its not like these are supposed to be museum pieces... I would definitely suggest these hoses... for the price.. around 15 bucks per hose, you can't really go wrong for the price...
a good value
